World Basketball Festival @ The Garden

World Basketball Festival @ The Garden

I’ve lived in this city for a little over three years now and I’ve seen quite a few odd things.  Today alone I saw a woman dressed in a neon orange leotard and pink wig carrying about 10 hula hoops.  Where was she going?  And then there was the woman who walked into a salad shop and said “I’d like a salad without the lettuce please.”  And proceeded to order a bowl of misc ingredients. Even the guys behind the counter looked at her like she was a little bit c-r-a-z-y. Oh and lets not forget the man walking down 14th Street with a fur tail attached to his shorts.  Need I say more?
I think my favorite to date is still the giant red bunny I stumbled across in Foley Square (see above).  Imagine coming out of the subway, on your way to work and seeing that!
